Took some driver swings today, and cracked the 130mph barrier for the first time, with a swing of 131mph.  Pretty cool.  When I started working out on 11/1, I could not break 109mph.

Still working out faithfully and am now into the Pre-season phase of Ten Weeks to Ultimate Golf Conditioning  As always, I am doing the chains with a vengeance.

The best news is, I am striking the ball very well on the golf course.  Played an "emergency 9" on Monday and shot 2-over because I bogeyed the last two holes from the DEAD CENTER of the fairway.  I was playing into a rather stiff breeze and under-clubbed both times.  Never said I was smart.  I haven't struck a practice ball since 11/1 and have only played 54 holes of golf since the day after Christmas.  I believe the chains really help with sequencing.

To you old guys.  Get off your arse and get training.  It can be done.  I am an average 57 yr. old white guy who has made the effort to increase CHS.  Anyone can do it.  Go get 'em.  Develop a solid routine, work hard and stay the course.

Hayes
Do you have to be over 50 to join?
If so I will have to wait another year.

Also is there a minimum club head speed as I think I may be 25 mph slower than you?
