Are there any videos that show the proper way to hit a bunker shot?  I am absolutely terrible in the bunker and club always seems to bounce off the sand.  I thought you need an open stance and open up the club, then cock the wrists right on the back swing, but when I come through  and hit the sand the club bounces.  I just can't figure out why I am so bad.  I would rather have it in the rough next to the bunker than in the bunker.

Is that DVD separate to what we pay for the monthly fee?

The short game DVD covers chipping, bunkers, putting, and rough shots. I watched the bunker part and played 3 days later. I ended up in 4 bunkers. Three out of the four I was able to remember instruction from the video and I made a fairly decent out. I also purchased a low bounce 60 degree wedge specifically for the wet and heavy sand I normally encounter. I have only played a hand full of courses that have the nice fluffy sand you see on tour. Anyway, the video was a good buy as it has helped me with other aspects of the short game. Just my two cents.

hey ruff diggitty nobody seems to want to help i listened to others instructors tecqniques but i do not buy it what you want to do is set up correctly one problem you might have is standing to far away from the ball so dont force your body to setup a certain way be completey relax and let it go where ever it wants then you want to have a light grip pressure then swing aggressive  and hit a little behind the ball and youll be getting more up and downs change clubs for certain distances practice this and get more up and downs

Take out the dollar bill of sand beneath the ball and send it on the green.

Thanks for the help!  I will try those methods and see what happens.  Played this past weekend and I did fairly well.  I really just focused on putting my weight on the left side and accelerate through.  Hopefully it can continue.
