First I just want to say Hello.
What brought me to this site was CQ's description of the golf swing
Dynamic & Athletic (right up my alley...l) and thanks to Chucks site
I now know that Im a Rotary Hitter.
I felt that  my first post should be in a section I that best suits me.

I just started playing golf 2 months ago I come from 25years of Combat Sports
(Traditional Martial Arts, Muay Thai, Boxing, Pankration, Vale Tudo, Submission Grappling).

Instead of fight training I just inserted golf training, the transition, in regards
to the physical demands, was an easy one.

As far as practice for golf Im basically just doing what Chuck has laid out for
Pat with Sundays off with obvious substitutions.

Anyways...
For my Strength & Conditioning I do www.crossfit.com
I have done my share of different s&c programs and nothing has even come
close to producing the results that crossfit has (explosive power, strength, speed, agillity and so much more).

Crossfit isnt for everyone check it out give it a try and make your own decision.

If you are interested check the right side of the main page for an
affiliate X-fit location in your area.
Check out the Exercise and Demos page tons of vids.

Think you have a strong core? (work safe)

Did this the other day

Good info in this vid.

Its not all about weights

One of my favorite met-con workouts (metabolic conditioning)

Like I said crossfit isnt for everyone

Thanks again Chuck for a great golf instruction site.
Reminds me of another site I know...

AL

and just my luck I only live about 2 hrs from Orlando.

Pour water into a teapot it becomes the teapot.
Pour water into a cup it becomes the cup.
Now water can flow or it can crash.
Be Water My Friend.
