I have been reviewing the videos and doing some drills for about a week now. After 5 years of lessons, I knew my right shoulder was turning too soon and so I always seem to cast and never make impact. The take away using the right shoulder instead of the left has been amazing and the drill to stop the right elbow from going too far back has also been effective.
I have been working on the right hand throw the ball drill and this move seems to be the key one for me to work on. Videotaping today showed that I was definitely getting my right elbow in better and the should was better, but I am still way behind at impact. Also after swing today using a club and trying to feel like I am doing the throw the ball drill, I can feel my right medial elbow aching a little. Am I doing something wrong? |

What do you mean when you said you're "still way behind at impact"? It sounds like you need to work on the weight shift to make sure you're getting back to the left.
It looks like you're working on the Rotary Swing Tour vice the original Rotary Swing. I would repost this under the Rotary Swing Tour section.

Sorry, I didn't realize it was the wrong forum section! I mean my wrists are back behind my clubface at impact. I do need to work more on weight-shift, but even with improvement there my arms just don't get in the slot

Got it. Post a video in the RST section or a youtube link in the discussion under Throw the ball video.

Hi Susan,
This forum is not very operative anymore but there is still a bit of activity. The discussions about the videos in the RST learning program is connected to each of the videos in the video player on the main page.
