I've been tossing around the idea of sending out drivers on demo and was wanting to see if you guys were interested in doing something like that. I would do it something like you can try the driver for 3 days, play it, hit it on the range, whatever and then ship it back. If you like it, we can build you one and send it to you, or you could even keep the one you hit if you wanted but it would likely be lightly used from other demos. Because it would the HTEC head in most cases, more than one shaft could be sent out which would allow you to try different combos as you can easily change them in 30 seconds on the fly in the middle of a round on your own. This would give you the chance to see how it plays in the real world.

Would you guys be interested in this and at what price point would seem fair? This would be a service for members only also. Keep in mind that in some instances, there would $1,000 plus clubs that are being demo'd, so these aren't cheap pieces of junk. I can also send out less expensive shafts and maybe have a couple different price points for premium shafts and lower end one as well. Also, we could possibly send out the NX-1 and NP-1 heads for those who aren't interested in the interchangable shaft technology.

That sounds like a great idea Chuck, because no matter what technology is available in the respect of launch monitors etc you can never be sure how one would perform until you take it out on the course.

Would you have different versions set up for different swing speeds?  I mean short of everyone having LM #s, you probably have a good idea by now what are general set up's for the 95ss set and the 110ss people?  I guess what I am saying is if me and Hayes swing at totally different speeds and neither of us wants to swap the shafts, will you have "basic" demo's?  Random question but my hacker ass can't fathom a 1000$ driver when I am not single digit hdcp yet.

secondary, I should be able to basically send you anything you want within any price range. And yes, it will be based on a conversation of your swing, game, tendencies, etc either via email or phone, so I know better what to send you.

I know a guy in NC that does demos, and without fail somebody, somewhere, figures it's theirs to keep sans payment.

$1000 is quite a bit to eat, demo after demo...

Ok, we're going to give this a trial run for MV members only. Here's how it will work:

The driver will be shipped priority to your address and you will be able to play it for 3 days and must ship it out on the 4th day. You will receive the Nak Htec 460 head with all the weights and tool to change out the weights. You will also receive the shaft we decide on or that you want to test. We will determine what best to fit you with based on whatever data you can send us such as swing speed, launch angle, ball flight, etc.

After the 3 days, you can order a new club, send it back or keep at and we will charge your credit card for it. The costs will be as follows:

For any HTEC 460 lofted head and shaft OTHER than Matrix and other premium shafts:

$49 for 3 days + shipping (usually around $10 for most areas in the US, outside the US you will need to contact us).

$79 + shipping for any HTEC 460 loft and any premium shaft including Matrix shafts.

You are responsible for return shipping costs and providing a tracking number via FedEx, USPS or UPS. If the club is not returned or is damaged in any way, your credit card will be charged FULL retail, which is $550 for the head and up to $1,200 for a Matrix TP-7 shaft for a total of $1,750!!! So, please return the club in mint condition!

We hope that this will allow many of you who won't be able to make it to Florida to get a great fit and try products that are extremely hard to find. We will work our hardest to get you the perfect shaft and loft setup to get you maximum distance, and as such, we strongly encourage you to use the club on the course, not just the range so you can see how it plays in the real world. We will also work with you to discuss how you can change the weighting, face angle, etc. for optimum launch conditions via phone or email.

If you would like to take part in the initial testing, please email me at cjquinton@yahoo.com and we will get you setup!
