Someone sent me a link to the Spartacus Workout 2.0 in Men'sHealth magazine. Check out exercise 5. Single-Leg, Single-Arm Underhand-Grip Dumbbell Row...


Raising the leg engages the core to maintain balance. The obliques would particularly be engaged to keep the trunk level as the weight is pulled upward, and the middle and lower fibers of the traps would be engaged as the shoulder blade is squeezed toward the spine.

Looks like a very efficient exercise for working "The Box".
