The Trackman data on Vijay was interesting in that he did not have any of the top CHS but he has something like 8 of the top 42(?) carry distances.  Angel Cabrera just hammers it.

When I was on the simulator several weeks ago, my AoA was +3.1 to +4.1,

So the young fella hit 127!  There goes my lower back latter today.  Remember, that the hare does not always win the race.  You will peak, and I will progress on steadily.  I have a secret advantage that I will reveal at a later date.  Collecting data now.
When the young fella peaks, I may just be so kind as to put one in his hands and see if we can get him moving again.  Stay tuned.

I do also, Hayes.  I hit a low ball.  My playing partner launches his.  During the summer, we'll be side-by-side in the fairway.  But, come late fall and it's wet...he kills me.  I think one thing in that piece was about Bubba Watson adjusting his Angle for the conditions...which is an interesting concept.

Hayes' "Secret" stuff usually involves a trip to the Home Depot to buy hardware, chains, hose...That basement must be looking like a proper Dungeon these days.
(Fortunately, I don't have a basement...I have a Hayes Starter Kit of my own.

I'm still waiting to learn the "secret advantage", oh Master of Speed.  Most of my CHS's on the P3Pro fall in the 97 to 99+ range.  I occasionally top 100, but I've never reached 101.  I was surprised to learn how slow I'm swinging it because it doesn't feel slow at all.   Fortunately, I don't miss the "sweet spot"  by much, or I'd have to leave the blues (tees) behind.  I'm not willing to make that concession to old age quite yet.

Chuck,

You mentioned you hit 127 CHS with driver. Besides some of the basic plyometrics (jumping on the benches) videos, what exercises do you employ in getting higher CHS? Much appreciated.

No secrets here Marlon, it was simply a matter of training by swinging as fast as I could for 2 months straight. There is no better training for swinging the driver fast than swinging the driver fast. I wasn't concerned with where the ball was going at first and even still today, every couple weeks now I will bust out the SSR and just swing away until I get into the mid 120's consistently just to keep my mind trained at how to fire all my muscles in the proper sequence to deliver high speeds. Give yourself the freedom to just swing away and unload on it for a few weeks, but do so with a swing speed radar because you will learn a lot about how tension and the wrong kind of effort in the wrong places will actually slow you down.
