Chuck, is it a good thing to feel a little squat in the back swing to be more anchor to the ground at the top of the backswing?

You can feel a squat there, the majority of it is ideally during the transition though.

CQ,

What was the purpose of putting the clubs on the ground? I think I understand the club in front on the FO view (for alignment maybe).  What about the club position in the DTL view? Is this for release purposes?

I just wanted to share my experience with RST. My journey for the perfect golf swing started about 20 years ago. I am forty years old now. Many lessons and quick fixes. You think you got it then it goes away. I always described myself as a "feel" golfer. When I felt good, I played well. Bad, you know the story.

Started with Chuck and RST about 5 months ago. Cherry picked in the beginning the videos that I thought would give me the answer . Thought to myself, well "move three is the most important so I'll concentrate on that."  Then I went back and watched from start to end. Did the drills and built the myelination and the muscle and nerve memory.  Built on one principle to the next until it became automatic.

Learned more in 5 months this year than my whole golf career. Like the Student above, understood what Chuck was saying immediately. Made so much sense. But practicing it correctly was the key. Still learning but literally striking the ball the best I have in my whole life.

Thanks Chuck! BTW, When are you in Denver next for a clinic?

Thinair, great job on having the discipline to go back and work through things in a structured way. It's not the most glamorous route - you tried that going to impact first! - but it is the most successful route.

My next clinic in Denver will be next week at Keystone's Area 51 - snowboarding all week next week! No plans for golf clinics in Denver, first Florida clinic is January 15-16th

He's back in Korea right now, getting ready to do a couple online lessons. He's been working on his own since the Thanksgiving break.

Is he still making good progress?  I'd be really interested to see how many changes he has been able to ingrain in his swing.
