2 months after my worst experience with chipping on the golf course, I've now had my best experience during 18 holes today!!!!

I hit the ball terribly off the tee all day today. However, of the 13 greens I missed in regulation (told you i hit the ball s**t!) I got up and down 10/13 times!
I had 28 putts in my round (my average is 33) with 2 three-putts and shot 80.
What a difference scrambling makes!

Thanks Hayes. I was scrolling thru the Short Game Forum looking for some pearls of wisdom on chipping and came across your response in this thread. It was terrific advice. I have been using the technique of "biceps on the outside" for a couple of weeks and it is the best chipping and putting I have ever had. Not even close. Thanks for the post.

I still use Hayes' tip to this day, and by maintaining the triangle, consistency of contact and ball flight is acheived. I can therefore hit my landing spot a lot more consistently around the greens.
Excellent , simple and effective tip!

here this is the best way to do it for chipping place the ball of right foot stand as close to ball as you can then just swipe the top part of the grass with your club there should be no reason you miss another up and down again that triangle things creap its not super consistent but this is the best tecqnique youll ever get
