Thats the thing Lowpost, I was using the radar in a bay at the range, not on a grass range. The radar stayed in the same place for the whole session with the Driver. I made sure the gold hole lay level with the back of the ball for every shot. Before hitting the 125mph, I hit 3 118mph and a 120mph. Don't ask me where the 157mph and 160mph came from!!!!!!

That happens to me also.  Somehow the unit picks up the ball or something.

Sure is a rush to look down and see 160 mph!

I hit 157 yesterday myself.  Too bad the "real" readings were all about 57/58 mph slower than that.

Yeah, I get the picture.
I know that the 157 and 160mph were glitches on the radar.
The numerous 118 to 125mph with 260+ yd carries were real.
Ball flight doesn't lie!

Nope. MY booming 99 mphers  were rolling out to a good 245,  250 or so.  I am not the king of speed that's for sure.

Your carry at that speed should be 260+.  120 mph + is insane speed.  Tiger swings in the low 130s.

Now, if you really are swinging that fast, you can "afford" to scale it back just a tad and go after a high smash factor.  Hit the ball dead-to-rights solid with a 115 mph + swing and your talking 275+ yard drives all day long.

Thats true Random.
I hit some lovely drives around the 112 to 115mph mark that had some real zip on them. I assume this was because of the smash factor increasing.

Yeah, if you can make 115mph your "comfort" swing speed, then you are in really good shape.  Many people, like me, would really have to swing "out of my socks" to swing that fast.  I hit it 270s total with roll pretty consistenly, and I only swing 105mph.

I got a blue SSR this past weekend.  My first few swings (which I thought felt okay) were only about 85.  After loosening up some, I was around 90.

I then relaxed and swung again...105!!  I thought it was a mistake, so I did it again.  106!!  I realized that on the first swings, I was worrying about my arms on the downswing.  When I let my arms be passive and aggressively threw my hands at the ball, I was getting consistent swings around and just over 100 mph.

It was good to see that swinging hard (which meant focusing on what my arms were doing) does not equal fast.  It also reinforces why I am able to put drives out there about 280 on occasion.

Great advice on this Chuck.  Now, I just need to work on increasing my CHS.
