Does the ball speed guard come with this or is it sold seperately ?   I guess it wouldn't be too hard to make one.

I recently received my red SSR and I am quite impressed. Here is an interesting observation: I compared driver CHS on the SSR and with the zelocity pure launch monitor machine (quite expensive) and I was consistently 7-8 MPH lower on the zelocity launch monitor. I read in one of the golf speed forums that the SSR is typically 8% faster (or, perhaps correct) than the zelocity. I tend to believe the SSR is dead on and here is why. Grab your SSR the next time you get in your car, turn it on, stick it out the window and observe your speed while you drive pass a stationary car. Yesterday, I was cruising at 40 MPH, and sure enough, the SSR registered 40 MPH. How's that for calibration!

I sense there are many variables in setting up launch monitors and therefore, every set up will give different numbers.   The SSR has been working flawlessly. Thank you Chuck for introducing this fine product to the community.

By the way, this is my first post in this forum.

Welcome Marlon. I have found the SSR to be the most accurate and consistent and better than the Zelocity, especially at higher swing speeds.
