Hi Chuck + forum members.

I have watched several of the videos showing the take away. If I understand it correctly, I should be keeping my arms and hand in front of my upperbody and shoulders so that the club handle is pointing at the centre of my torso. If that is the case to get the club head pointing directly away from the target line at 9 oclock I would need to have turned 90° at the 9 ocklock reference point and that would mean that the club would be way behind the toe line. I appreciate that there is a little amount of tilt in the right forearm but does that tilt in the right forearm happen before or after the club is at 9 oclock.

Can anyone clear this point up for me

Any help will be gratefully accepted

John

Hi John, that is a feeling that most need because they let the club drag behind them too early. The reality is that there is some movement behind the sternum of the club while the hands stay pretty centered.
