I was watching some old footage of my golf swing of this past summer and I noticed that my right arm is below my left on the backswing. The plane itself is pretty decent, not too flat, but it looks like i have zero width. I've read some stuff on Anika Sorenstam and I remember her talking about how she tried to keep her right arm above her left during her backswing. I've tried this but it feels super whacky. Can anyone elaborate on the best way to do this??? |

tmac,
when I see this in students from the face on view, it is most often caused by either early right elbow flexion or pushing from the left. I pointed this out in the Stricker blog, as his push from the left gets him into that position. |

Shoulder elevation....stick to the fundamentals. Pull the right shoulder back and elevate...keep pulling and elevating to the top with right arm flexion. You will be in perfect position.
