I've been really working on my takeaway. working mainly on keeping my right arm more straight in the backswing and keeping my width. swing feels good and compact, not too many moving parts, but it looks to be just a tad flat I think. Take a look and let me know what i'm missing... 6 iron dtl- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F0963oryPgI

really nice starting out, then the left arm works a little hard at the end and pushes the club back behind the body. Instead, you need the left arm/delt/pec to take a nap and if it does anything it elevates, it doesn't swing across.

You need a bit more shoulder elevation.

one thing i've struggled with when working on shoulder elevation is picking it up too soon. i always take the club away with my shoulders, never my arms, but when im trying to incorporate the shoulder elevation the club never seems to come inside the target line. can u explain what your path should look/feel like during the backswing?

The path will work to the inside because of the arc it follows (no flat spots) and will work up the original shaft plane at address, then through the forearm and then up parallel to the original plane after that.
