Today I was 4 under after 8 on our front nine and had a soft bogie on the ninth to turn 3 under.Shocked

Was delayed at the tenth for around 20-25 mins and then proceded to shoot 6 over. Five very poor tee shots cost me 6 shots. I was very disappointed to have a good round goin and then ruin it.Thumbs Down
I struggled to keep my timing as I know I'm going to hard with the hips and getting stuck. More throw the ball and right arm only drills!Big smile

However, the positives are RST has shortened  my backswing which has plagued me for a few years, distance with all clubs in the bag has improved and short irons are getting more accurate!Big smile
To top it all off I have only been to the range once since before Xmas. It's pretty cool to have drills to do at home indoors THAT WORK!

Way to go Craig, it's amazing what doing simple drills each day will do without having hit a golf ball. You're a great testimonial to that.

Thanks Guys for the encouragement.
Played again today and shot an easy 1 over. Up and downs were 100%,28 putts, but the odd bad tee shot cost me a few bogies.

I believe this will be the start of playing more consistant golf and hopefully going deep in the near future.

Can't wait to see what you've been working on Chuck.

Kind regards

Craig

Nice one Craig!

I, too, had my best score on that same front 9 holes last week....9 straight pars!

I couldn't play this weekend cos I've strained my right lat doing a kettlebell workout in the gym.
Gonna get out for a 5.30 am 9 holes on Tuesday morning though!

Sounds like your consistency is improving........good timing with the Club Championships in 3 weeks!

Fairways and greens,

Neil.

Hi Neil

9 straight  pars is excellent! Did you miss many putts?
No good about your lats, take is easy on your return. Golf is no game to play with even the slightest injury, we all know what it takes to ingrain good habits!!Wink

Hope to get together for a game soon, there is a spot with me this Saturday if your free? WE could exchange RST notes!

Regards
