Hi, I am a new member to forum post, but a rotary swing tour follower for a few months. Hopefully, this post comes through correctly. After a visit with Al in person a month ago, I am having trouble from 9 o'clock to the top. From 9 o'clock on, my left arm and wrist seem to rotate too much. Pushing my right elbow down and giving me a very laid off/club face shut position at the top. My only save is a last second pickup with my right arm to help me get it coming back down on plane. My shoulders are fully turned and my arms haven't really swung across my chest. My right arm is still connected to the box. Al and I worked on shoulder elevation after 45 degrees rotation, but it seems to make it worse when I begin my right elbow flexion. (same type of drill in the mship lesson). I am overly flexible in my shoulder joints which helps make the fix more difficult. I need help slowing the rotation of my left arm when I begin right elbow flexion, so the club can work on plane and set properly. I have tried glove under left arm, shoulder elevation drill in while holding club in front of me keeping hands only 2 inches apart, etc.. I've looked at all the videos and pretty much know them by heart. Any ideas would be much appreciated.

That's not an entirely uncommon problem to have and the biggest key I would give you is slow your backswing waaaay down until you learn to control the movement. If you can't stop your body from doing something, then slowing it down and retraining it is the first step.
